Rainpower Hymatek off to a great start in 2013

The new year has started off great for Rainpower Hymatek Controls, and a number of new orders has been received in the first couple of months. There is interest for the entire range of the product portfolio. The orders received ranges from turbine governors, oil pressure systems to excitation equipment for both new systems and upgrades. A couple of upgrade order to be mentioned: Vinje U1 & U2 and Hol 2.

In connection with Bundle Buy Project, Turbine Governors III, Statkraft has ordered optional items for Vinje A1 and A2 (100MW, Francis). Rainpower will deliver an upgrade of the oil pressure systems and servo motors. Rainpower is responsible for the complete execution from dismantling throughout commissioning. The optional order is an indication that Statkraft is satisfied with our earlier deliveries Bundle Buy Project.

For Hol 2 (20MW, Francis) Rainpower will deliver a new high pressure oil pressure system for E-CO. This includes a new main servo and a new electronic turbine governor. Rainpower is responsible for the complete execution from dismantling throughout commissioning. The unit will be delivered within 2013.

New orders for Hymatek Controls

Rainpower Norway, Hymatek Controls, has signed an agreement with Arendals Fossekompani for a delivery of a new turbine governor to Bøylefoss Power Plant, Unit 1 (14 MVA). The delivery includes a electronic turbine governor, an oil pressure system and a servo motor. The handover is scheduled for June 2013.

Rainpower Norway, Hymatek Controls, has signed an agreement with TrønderEnergi for a delivery of two oil pressure systems for Svorkmo Power Plant, Unit 1 and 2 (39 and 22 MVA). The delivery includes oil pressure systems and servo motors for main and safety valves. Trial operation is scheduled for April and December 2013.

Rainpower Norway, Hymatek Controls, has signed an agreement with ABB to supply 12 excitation units for generators onborad military submarines of the Ula class. Units for prototype testing shall be delivered by the end of 2012, while the actual delivery shall take place in two stages, specifically in January 2014 and January 2015.
