The workshop has a little short of 100 employees. Most of them are qualified workers within fabrication, welding, industrial mechanics and CNC machining.

Rainpower Sørumsand Verksted is approved for a total of seven disciplines: Plate work, welding, industrial mechanics, CNC machining, industrial surface treatment, NDT control and dimension control. We have about ten apprentices at any one time.

The company has an agreement with several local high schools; through this cooperation a system for internship in the workshop has been established, so that the students may learn about the company´s manufacturing and its products, where they can display their professional knowledge and qualifications. This is an important process for future recruitment of apprentices with good knowledge and good attitudes. Internship students with the right attitude may be offered an apprentice contract with the company.
